Statement
The series Leavings: Things Remaining illustrates fictional scenes evocative of historical still-life, where I give forgotten objects new life in unexpected contexts. Despite their familiarity, the subjects often have a dark and unsettling appearance. These constructed narratives delve into our emotional connection to our memories and cherished possessions.
